Flow-Dry^® Packaged Desiccants Expands Global Presence to Europe

Flow Dry World Wide LLC, the world's leading supplier of Flow-Dry^® Desiccant Packages for Automotive Air Conditioning systems, has chosen Komarom, Hungary as the site for a new manufacturing plant. The plant will produce a variety of desiccant packages, including desiccant bags for accumulators and condenser dryers, desiccant cartridges for receiver dryers, and various other product configurations for dehydration in automotive AC systems. The plant will utilize process equipment designed and built by our engineering staff in the U.S.A.

The recently refurbished and remodeled facility is registered as FlowDry Kft. A number of customer products currently exported from the U.S.A will be produced in Hungary and shipped to various locations in Europe, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and Poland. The new facility will allow Just-In-Time shipments and significantly reduce transportation costs for its current and future European customers. In addition, the facility will serve as a customer service and support center, providing communication, application engineering assistance and samples on request. Initial production is targeted for April 2004. The plant will be ISO9000 certified shortly after startup.

Flow Dry Technology Ltd. packages various desiccant, silica-gel and molecular sieve materials for a variety of end use applications. Package designs are available in both standard and custom configurations in order to meet a variety of operational requirements. Typical applications include automotive air conditioning and exhaust systems, electrical component moisture control, packaging, commercial air conditioning, construction and environmental control.
